E-5 Underground 3D has 2 different modes of racing. The first one is Quick Race Mode and the other one is the Career Mode. If you want to taste the thrill of racing immediately, select Quick Race, select your car and the track, and start racing. Quick races have 3 laps. Newer cars and tracks will become available in Quick Race, along with advances in your career.

The other type of racing in E-5 Underground 3D is the Career Mode. In Career Mode, players compete against others to get the girl they like. There are many races organised on different tracks with various money prizes; you can participate in any one after paying the fee. If you want to race, select Race Now! from the Career Menu. Then, you will see a list of available races to you, select one race and click OK. The fee will be deducted automatically from your account. If you win the chosen race, you will receive the prize into your account.

E-5 Underground 3D game is developed by CeptekiDunya Mobile and published by Mobile Entertainment Studios. The game works in full screen (640x360) landscape only mode. You can get the version 1.0.0 of this game from the following download link.

How to add Shortcuts on the Nokia N8 Homescreen

We’ve received a couple of e-mails asking how to add shortcuts on the Nokia N8 homescreen. And here we got a very brief and simple tutorial on how to do this. I think you can add as many as you want. Check this screenshot of the shortcuts:

The first thing you have to do is to add the shortcut widget. To do this you have to:

Click on your N8′s homescreen continuously until you see the “Edit Homescreen” pop up;
After this you have to press “+” in one of the slots and this way it may open the widget catalogue;
You have now to add a widget with the name “Shortcuts”.

After this, you have to know how to add games app, browser, wathever you want on your mainscreen. Thus you have to follow this:

Click on your N8′s homescreen continuously until you see the “Edit Homescreen” pop up;
Click on the shortcut widget that you added;
Select “Settings”;
Select a shortcut that you want to change and choose “application” as your shortcut type.

Of course, instead of clicking on your Nokia N8 homescreen continuously to get the “Edit Homescreen” you can follow what’s below:

go to: Options > Edit home screen > Options again > Widget catalog

How to delete homescreen shortcuts?

after going to: Options > Edit home screen. Just tap the undesired shortcut once and you will see a “remove” message that appears. Click and then you remove that shortcut.

How to Rearrange Homescren shortcuts?

After going to: Options > Edit home screen. Now you just have to drag the shortcuts to the desired place and then drop.

End of our journey: Top 20 Symbain^3 OS app week

The top sixteenth being revealed this week, its time to end our journey with the last 4 applications of this week and year.

Converter touch is seventeenth on my list.

According to all the other off-screen technologies, this is short, sweet and to the point. It’s the all-purpose units converter hence the name, with a awesome large buttons for entering numbers. If you only look up units once a week, grab this, to make your life easier!

Eighteenth place is for Timer touch.

Simialr to Converter Touch, this application lets you count the lap time and of course, the amount of laps.

Nineteenth place is for the famous sports tracker.

After being closed on the 30th June,2010. Sports Tracker was transformed from a beta version to a more permanent version that allows me to see who is working out now and their info.

This GPS-logging utility is now back firmly in the hands of its masters and tied to a superb online portal for uploading your runs, walks and cycle rides. Buy a heart monitor and some of your online friends can encourage you when you slacking.

The last application game, meaning the twentieth application is Real Golf 2011 HD.

This is a HD 2011 game of Golf. The reason that the game came last is that it hasn’t been perfected and the graphics aren’t really HD. It’s also appearing licensed in SOME N8′s.

Top 20 Symbian^3 OS apps journey

The top 12 have been revealed but the other 8 apps are still left. Who shall be the last 8? Who shall be the twentieth application meaning the worst? Lets find out.

Trill qualifies for thirteenth place.

It doesn’t have a popular name but this list isn’t about the names but rather the performance of them.

It’s a fully-functional Twitter client and a whole step further developing a more friendly applicaton than using the Twitter mobile web site each day or gravity. It isn’t in the same league as Gravity but yet again, this is free. It does have a few similarities to Gravity so it shouldn’t be a problem operating it. There’s sideways swiping to switch columns but the downside is that it may be a bit unresponsive and a generally attractive interface.

Fourteenth place is reserved for the one and only SWYPE!

Yes, it has broken a world record with the fastest typing against normal everyday typing! The reason why it cam fourteenth is because it still is new and hasn’t quite proven itself to be in the top 10 list.

Swype does replace the everyday N8 keyboard with a much fun and exercising application.

For fifteenth place, X-Plore!

Something that all hacks need but they also provide their own. Its easier if you use X-plore than your default File manager.

X-plore is still the current file manager of choice on Symbian and it shall remain until a competitor passes by. It has helped me with my personal N95 with a hack to bypass the certificate checks. Being shareware, it only has the 3-second nag screen and there’s no time limit to your trial, so it just squeezes in here.

Nokia Panorama qualifies for sixteenth place.

Sometimes I found that the photos I had to take, the location was too big, so when I met Nokia Panorama, it solved everything.

This wonderful application stitches 2 images taken, this hasn’t been built in to the 12MP N8 camera. Have a look at the picture.

4 Million Nokia N8 Sold

You’ve heard it, estimates tell that Nokia Sold 4 million N8 devices. Do you remember when the Nokia N8 pre-orders started? Nokia announced that the Nokia N8 had received the highest amount of pre-orders in it’s history, but we had no idea of the numbers. Well, of course they would have more Nokia 3310 pre-orders if it was 8 years ago (lol) but despite knowing that online pre-ordering is a relatively new thing, it’s a really nice number comparing with sales from other devices competing with the Nokia N8.

The number “4 millionunits shipped” since October comes from Inderes Oy, a Finland-based research company, referring that the number of Nokia N8′s that have been sold is between 3.5 and 4 million units.

It’s a nice number, but iPhone 4 got 14 million orders in the third quarter of 2010 and probably it is less than the number of Samsung Galaxy S units sold this same quarter. Also, let me tell you that we have no clue of what will appear on Nokia after the Nokia N9…ok…will the Nokia N9 exist? But after that Nokia seems to have no plans and a new iphone will come, more Android phones. Will Nokia be able to face it’s competitors?

Nokia N8 App Review: Theft Aware 2.0 for Symbian^3

Theft Aware 2.0 is a anti theft software for Nokia N8 and other Symbian^3 devices. Like any other anti theft application, Theft Aware allows you to take control of your stolen phone remotely via SMS and web based interface. However, there are a number of features in this application that makes it superior than any other similar application. Theft Aware comes with a stealth mode which removes every trace of the application on the phone which means the bad guy won't get to know that the phone has an anti theft application loaded. I have personally verified this and the application does not appear in the App Manager as well which is amazing. Now, you will wonder as to how do you re-launch this application for any configuration changes. Simply, dial the numeric password using the dialer and call, the application will launch.

This application allows you to set two notification numbers that will get notified if the phone is stolen. The notification SMS contains the GPS co-ordinates, Network details and of-course the thief's mobile number. Remote controlling of the phone using SMS is very elaborate and lets you perform a large number of functions. Apart from wiping, locking, activating siren on your phone, you can get call logs from the phone. You can initiate an automatic call to your notification phone number using a SMS command and the best part is that the initiated call will remain hidden from the thief which means it would initiate in the background. You can instruct the application remotely to send notifications continuously at regular intervals so that you can track the movement of the thief.

The application is also designed to support Internet Remote Controlling but the web interface is currently under development and it will be available soon. Currently, the application is designed to backup phone data in the form of text messages and not in the form of internet based uploads (as done by McAfee Wavesecure). Although, it would be unfair to compare this application with McAfee Wavesecure but this particular feature would surely be an added advantage and would definitely increase its popularity among the Nokia users. The plans of such a feature might already be in queue with the developer and get introduced in future version of Theft Aware. This application comes at a cost of 10 Euro and I believe you should buy this application to safeguard your Nokia N8. Buy Now
